Divine Tide Ceremony
I’m going to start this off by reminding all of you that I am not a writer or story teller, but I am going to try my best to tell you this story.
On July 7th, I woke up feeling so so excited to head to the beach, run into the ocean and then sit at the shore to read your letters. But like all great plans humans make, the universe always decides what is best. First, I want to say that I don’t drive in DR. Passenger princess all the way because I’m traumatized by an accident I had in 2010. So…we left later than planned (what else is new). I’m in the car with my parentals and boss baby (hubby, L & J were riding with my sister), I’m looking out the window and then suddenly I’m dreaming. I dreamt about how cold the water was going to be, how I would do the ceremony at 7pm, and how damn windy it was. All of this happened. I walked into the ocean to cleanse myself before starting the ceremony and froze, plus the wind didn’t help. After, I sat at the shore reading each of your letters, visualizing everything you listed. I saw some of you buying houses, some having babies, some getting married, some starting new businesses, some moving to different states and some moving out of the country. I became so emotional, because I knew everything you asked for was going to come true and I was so happy for you. After reading your letters, I went inside and lit a yellow candle. It burned for 2 days adding some power to the manifestations.
On 7/8, I visited Atabey and spoke to her about your manifestations and all the amazing things I saw for all of you. She is the goddess of fertility, freshwater, the moon, music, and beauty, and is considered the creator deity and mother of gods. Atabey is also the female spirit that represents all horizontal water, including lakes, streams, the sea, and marine tides. I hope you can all feel her power through that photo. I’ve been dreaming so much with Atabey after so I know she has been covering all of you with her blessings.
On 7/9, I went back to the ocean and gave a hard boiled egg as an offering in your name. Soon after, we were surrounded by fish so I knew the offering was accepted. I definitely could feel the power of the ocean all around me and had such a hard time getting out of the water after.
On 7/12, I visited the basilica of La Virgen de Altagracia, she is Considered as the protector of Dominicans, and lit a candle in your names to thank for all the favors received and to make requests that have to do with money, love, protection. I had all of your letters with me, while I walked barefoot from the front gate to her photo inside the cathedral. I am forever grateful for that moment because I was able to feel your prayers and love. I prayed for all of you to live lives full of love and abundance. I also tried to burn your letters and spirit was not having it lol. They wanted me to leave the letters in a garden, but me being stubborn af & a lover of fire, wanted to use that energy. Obviously, spirit knows best, and since I tried lighting the letters 3x without success, I took them home with me.
On 7/14, I put all of your letters under a snake plant. Snake plants are said to bring good luck, positive energy, and prosperity. I sat for a bit, prayed and gave thanks.
What do you need to do next? Keep working on your goals, meditate, give thanks daily, live and see everything with love. Be kind to others. If you took photos of your letters read them once a month on the 7th and get ready to receive blessings. You are all deserving and worthy. I love you!
